Francis Karr, who founded the company, was himself a visionary. His free-end offset coil design, which adjusts to each sleeper's weight, is now the most copied design in the bedding industry.

Each of the new Back Supporter beds feature a zoned CONFORMA foam upholstery layer designed to relieve pressure to shoulders and hips. We use varying levels of foams, natural latex and unique surface modification designs to provide both pressure relief and balanced weight distribution. Ever since Francis Karr founded Spring Air in 1926 pressure relief and proper spinal support has been our focus.
